The second link below is from the 1880 Census for Thomas Harding in Jefferson County, Missouri.

The third link below is from the 1870 Census for Thomas Harding in Jefferson County, Missouri and William Harding in Lincoln County, Missouri.  When you view that page, you will notice that it says William "Harden" for his last name, but it is him, just spelt incorrectly on the census.   You will also notice that Francis was listed as Rebecca F.  Francis's maiden name was Montgomery and there was a Nancy Montgomery family listed above William Harding.  That was Francis's mother and other siblings at that time living next door.  This particular census was taken just before James W. Harding was born in 1871.

The fourth link below is from the 1860 Census for Jefferson County, Missouri.  This particular census was very hard to read and I have several question marks "?" next to things I'm unsure about.  Did not spot William as a teenager, but I assume he should be there.  Thomas Harding is on this census and I've listed the other Harding's in the area.

The fifth link below is from the 1850 Census for Jefferson County, Missouri.  Thomas Harding with son William (3 years old) are on this census.  I have the other Harding's in the area listed as well.   There was a Grimes Family living with Thomas Harding.
