Fall River MARGARET A. COELHO

MARGARET A. COELHO, 95, of 4901 North Main St., formerly of County Street, a spinner at
the former American Thread Co., died yesterday at the Sarah Brayton Nursing Care Center.
She was the wife of the late Antonio DeRego Coelho.
A lifelong resident of Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Margaret
(Breen) Ainsworth.
She was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church and a member of the Immaculate
Conception Women's Guild, St. Mark's Senior Citizens Club and the Cotrell Senior Group.
During World War II, she worked at the former Firestone Rubber and Latex Co. and had
worked at the former Excel Mfg. Co., retiring 37 years ago.
She leaves a son, James W. Coelho of Merrimac, N.H.; three daughters, Margaret M. Menard
of Merritt Island, Fla., Dorothy E. Medeiros of Middleboro, Mass., and Patricia A. Gray of
Fall River; 17 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was the mother of the late Manuel Coelho and sister of the late John, Frank and James
Ainsworth.
The funeral will be held Tuesday at 9 a.m. from the Jeffrey E. Sullivan Funeral Home, 550
Locust St., with a funeral Mass at 10 in Immaculate Conception Church, Thomas Street.
Burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery.
